IGIIC youth - thematic group. One thing leads to another.

Abstract

In September 2021, the XIX edition of Lo Stato dell'Arte, the national congress of IGIIC1, the Italian Group of the IIC, was held in Udine. During the members' meeting, the limited participation of students and young restorers in the session was noted, which was also reflected in the scarcity of scientific contributions in the program of interventions - excluding those dealing with theses - from this age group. [...] The members' meeting in Udine became fertile ground for the creation of a youth section of the IGIIC that could make young people feel at ease by having them compare notes with their peers on topics of interest to them.
